Evangeline's Backyard/Garden

A place where Evangeline spends most of her time. She is frequently heard singing in here and her beautiful voice is carried out and around so people passing by also hear her songs.

Anyone passing by will be almost enchanted by her song and might stop to hear her for a little while.

Evangeline sighed and strolled about her garden. It had been at least a week and a half since she had been changed. Everything was still new to her. She had already explored her new house and memorized everything about it. She now didn’t have much to do.

The garden that was beautifully outspread in front of her made her smile and she gently bent down to smell a flower. When she was done, she picked the flower and put it in her hair.

She looked around the large garden and wondered if anyone was around like a gardener or someone like that. The house had seemed totally empty when she was looking around; the man who brought her there had left her and disappeared. She would give him a bit more time but then would decide he was killed.

Evangeline shrugged and realized she didn’t care if anyone heard her and started singing to herself one of the songs she had made a while back. The song was beautiful and melodic, anyone would enjoy hearing it. Even a grumpy person’s day would be happier ((In Juria’s opinion… JACOB!)).

When her song ended, Evangeline smiled prettily and bowed to the air, “Thank you, thank you…” she smiled and stood up then took a walk around the flowers. She figured now was as good as any time to make up songs to eventually sing so she just randomly started singing about what she was thinking and feeling and seeing. She put music to it and though it was all improvised, it was probably the sweetest thing anyone would hear.

Evangeline got wrapped up in her own world she wouldn’t have noticed anyone if they walked in at that moment.

((continuing from the house))

Tigerlilly ran outside in the backyard garden with his new best friend behind him. He was awe-struck at the beauty of the garden.

"WOW! I love your backyard!" Tigerlilly complemented.

Evangeline followed the excited boy and smiled as he complimented her garden.

"Why thank you, it is quite lovely isn't it? I enjoy singing in it." She grinned and knew how lucky she was to have inherited the house and garden.

Tigerlilly looked at her "You sing!?" He smiled, "Show me please!" he said eagerly to listen.

Evangeline wasn't shy at singing, she had always loved to, but she never knew what to sing. She had literally thousands of songs and always wondered what song her audience would like the best.

"Umm... ok Tigerlilly, if you inisist..." Evangeline smiled and thought of a song. In a small moment, she decided to sing Somewhere ((by within temptation)) and it was probably the most beautiful thing Tigerlilly had ever heard.

Evangeline's song had places that made you hold your breath and wish they could never be over, and the notes were so pure and beautiful that it seemed an angel was signing them. It is pointless to say that Evangeline was probably the best singer in the world.

When the great singer finished she just smiled at Tigerlilly.

Tigerlilly was stunned from her beautiful voice, he could die or melt away from her voice. "That. was. amazing." was the only words he could actually say though they were spaced out.

Evangeline grinned at Tigerlilly's stunned face, but then realized he looked like he might collapse at any minute. She quickly went over to him and helped him to a bench not far away that was in the garden before she said, "Are you ok? Am I REALLY that good to take your strength away? I'm not that that good"

Evangeline laughed and smiled to her friend, Tigerlilly probably either wondered why she wasn't out singing for concerts or if she had had a singing career before.

When Tigerlilly was escorted to a bench he thanked Evangeline. "You were amazing!" Tigerlilly complemented, "Why aren't you in concerts!?"

The pretty singer smiled and would have blushed if it wernt for being a vampire and replied, "I used to be, when I was human, and it was the greatest time of my life but now I can't be seen in daylight and I don't think the vampire kingdom does music concerts..." Evangeline smiled to Tigerlilly

"I'm really glad you liked my singing though" Evangeline liked being appreciated and it was obvious Tigerlilly had loved her singing. She thought for a second and then asked Tigerlilly, "If you ever hear of a place that needs a singer tell me ok?" Evangeline smiled.

((I'm doing this on my iPod so if I made mistakes that is why XD))

"I bet you attracted a lot of people and have a lot of fans, because your singing is awesome!" Tigerlilly complemented.

He then stood up since he regained his strength, "And don't worry, I'll let you know if anything is up." He gave a smile.

Evangeline grinned and replied, "Well, I might have turned into a vampire from one of these fans... but I just did small concerts, no big ones..."

She thought for a second and decided, "I would have liked to become famous with all sorts of fans... but I sing because I like to, not because I want people to hear me."

Tigerlilly nodded, "Yeah, you shouldn't sing just to be famous, besides to much singing would wear out your beautiful voice," He smiled.

Evangeline would have blushed... if she had still been human, from Tigerlilly saying she had a beautiful voice.

Her eyes however showed how thankful she was of the compliment and thanked, "Aww, I have a beautiful voice? Why thank you!"

Evangeline looked into the pond and smiled while thinking out loud, "I however really do miss singing in front of people... I wouldn't want ONLY to get famous, but if it came with singing for people I would happily accept it."

Tigerlilly then grinned as he hatched an idea, "Why won't you go up in front of the middle of the marketplace and sing!"

Evangeline gave a sheepish smile and declared, " I would... But the setting just wouldn't be right... If I just went up and sang the people would think I was mental or something like that..."

She smiled and continued, "but if I got a showing there someday, it would be incredible!"

Tigerlilly gave it some thought and grinned, "Let's make posters and fliers! We can set a date and location, spread it around town and once the date arrives you sing!"

A grin spread across Evangeline's face and she agreed, "OK! I am sure I have some paper in the house!... Don't I have to make sure its ok with the Elders first?"

Evangeline giggled, "I would hate to have them think I was causing a disturbance and then teach me a lesson... they are really powerful! But I agree, how about we make the posters then take it to the Elders and see what they think?"

((lets say yes so we can go to the castle and I can use Esmerelda XD))

"ALRIGHT!" Tigerlilly jumped for joy, "Well I know the elders really well I can go ask for you! When I go home tonight I'll ask. But yeah let's make some posters!" Tigerlilly was eager to start decorating posters right away, and he hoped the elders would agree on the concert.

(Alright lol)

Evangeline smiled but then commented, "I think I should go with you, the Elders might want to see me before saying anything, just to make sure nothing will happen in the Kingdom" She giggled, it was a good point.

"Come on! Lets make the posters then go right now to the Elders!" Evangeline grinned and grabbed Tigerlilly's hand and hurried him inside to where the paper and colors awaited.
